Oaxaca, renowned for its rich culinary and cultural heritage, transforms during the celebration of Día de los Muertos, the Day of the Dead. If you travel to learn, taste, reflect, and seek a memory-making trip, this is for you.

During the week of Día de los Muertos, the city bursts to life with costumed parades, traditional flowers, and colorful ofrendas, altars adorned with vivid offerings dedicated to dearly departed friends and family. Our curated journey includes market tours, cooking classes, Mezcal tastings, a visit to the Monte Albán archaeological site, exploration of a centuries-old weaving village, city galleries, and a poignant visit to the illuminated graveyards, honoring and summoning the spirits of lost family and friends.

This is just an amazing experience with Lorenza. I am here in the beautiful town of Oaxaca, looking at this gorgeous altar we put together with flowers we picked from the flower field. We also went to an amazing candlemaker — absolutely incredible. We are celebrating all these beautiful people who left us. I am so grateful for all the artisans we visited, the amazing art gallery, the rug weavers — it’s one of those trips I’m going to remember for the rest of my life. The cooking class was spectacular, and I loved my art class. Lorenza’s energy is contagious. I’m so grateful for this wonderful trip.
