How to Book:
To secure your spot on our tours, a 50% deposit of the tour cost per person is required. The tour price is in US dollars, and if paying with another currency, your credit card will be charged the current exchange rate at the time of purchase. Alternatively, guests can opt to pay the full amount at the time of reservation. If the 50% deposit is made, the balance is due 90 days before the tour starts, and an invoice will be emailed 30 days prior to the final payment date.
Payment:
Once an initial deposit or full payment is made, Capitana Adventures will send an electronic invoice reflecting the payment information. Additional information and forms will be provided, including an introductory letter, detailed preliminary itinerary, release of liability form, a questionnaire noting interests and health concerns, and the terms and conditions. Complete the required documents, sign, and return them along with a deposit to Lorenza Arnal at lorenza@capitanafoods.com to finalize your tour booking.
Cancellation Policy:
Cancellations Made by Guests:
Exceptions cannot be made for personal emergencies, and no partial refund is given for leaving a tour early or arriving late. Consider travel insurance for unforeseen circumstances.
Cancellations Made by Capitana Adventures:
Capitana Adventures reserves the right to cancel the tour due to a national/global disaster, health risk, unsafe conditions, travel restrictions, or insufficient enrollment 91 days prior to the tour. Guests will receive confirmation 91 days before the tour, and periodic updates will be provided
Travel Insurance:
We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to cover unforeseen circumstances. Options include insurance through your credit card, insurance broker, airline, or travel agent. Websites such as www.travelinsurance.com, www.travelexinsurance.com, and www.axatravelinsurance.com can assist you in choosing the best option
Flights:
Roundtrip travel to the tour start/end location is not included in the tour price. Explore flight options at the time of booking but wait until after the potential cancellation date per terms and conditions before purchasing tickets
Changes to the Itinerary:
Capitana Adventures may make partial changes due to inclement weather, emergencies, or Covid restrictions, with efforts to minimize alterations
Photo Release:
During tours, Capitana Adventures photographs activities, locations, and guests for marketing and publicity. Notify us if we cannot use photos of you for these purposes; otherwise, it will be assumed that you accept this.
Activity Level, Food Allergies, Health Limitations:
Guests should be able to walk one mile per day unimpeded, climb two flights of stairs, and stand for 30 to 45 minutes on different tour days. Disclose any allergies or health conditions on the questionnaire, and contact Lorenza Arnal at lorenza@capitanafoods.com for concerns.
